Farewell To An Old Friend

Dr. Kahler and his wife, Sheilah, said good-bye to Simon, their beloved golden retriever, on Friday, July 22. He had been on loan from heaven for the past 15 years (nearly), He was a trusted loyal, and loving member of their family for all that time. To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement.

He was crowned king (oldest golden retriever) at the 'SLO Goldens in the Park' event' almost 2 weeks to the day prior to his passing.

One of Simon's favorite pastimes was just hanging out on the couch...

Simon was truly special; he was a horrible guard-dog, because he was friends with everyone he met, and everyone he met will miss him.

He loved the beach and the simple life, and the things that all golden retrievers do...
